Every time I’m passing by this place lately and the reading of the Proclamation is taking place, I take my time and stop to listen. Is touching, emotional and fills you with pride. Is something beyond words.

I do like Moondays

Really, don’t know where the weekend flew in such a rush, but I wish you all a very happy week. Don’t forget to smile, breath and live a bit.

Happy Moonday

Have a happy and fulfilling Moonday, week, month, year, decade, century, life.

Tomorrow we will use our right to vote for 2016’s general elections and I am afraid that our politics look likeย the words in the picture.

Count’s Castle

In my wanderings around Ireland, found some interesting penthouses ๐Ÿ˜‰ can you spot one?

Next time I’ll look for fairy houses.

Dublin Rising 1916-2016

Few days ago, Google came up with a special virtual tour to mark 100 years since Easter Week 1916. The narrator of the tour is none other than our own Colin Farrell. You’ll get some glimpses of a very important time in Ireland’s history with a combination of archive images and readings with contemporary street view. Goes without saying that this year is the year to visit Dublin and Ireland, but any other time is good also. Hope you’ll have a good journey, even if it’s only a virtual one.
Following the link, you’ll be transported in the most important areas of my beloved Dublin and have a very interesting tour.

Have also added some pictures in front of Ambassador Theatre, where is this interesting exhibition with 1916 memorabilia.

Dublin’s FlightFest 2013

On 15th of September 2013, Dublin was hosting a-once-in-a-lifetime event, Flight Fest with more than 30 aircrafts, old and new, flying over Dublin’s sky. It was an exciting event and live was even better than in pictures and videos, especially that my pics and videos are not such a great quality because I took them with my phone. It started with a mixture of rain, sun, rain, sun in a very windy day. Hope my asking my lovely and very patient husband in Romanian language: do you see them do you see them do you see them, will not be very annoying, but I was very excited and really loved every minute.
This event was part of The Gathering Ireland 2013. It was noisy and it was fun, I wish they’ll repeat that every year.

All the best in 2016

Wish you a happy, healthy, wealthy new year!

No resolutions list for me this year, have plenty of plans and few of them really hope and work towards bringing them to real life. Don’t forget to smell the roses, you can do that even if you are running ๐Ÿ˜‰

So, wish you to CARPE DIEM!

But please find time to read and learn ๐Ÿ˜‰ In Romanian is even funnier as capre means goats.

And don’t forget

Love & Peace xx
