From 2016 until 2021, Irish Museum of Modern Art of Dublin has on loan from private collections, some of the works of and about Lucian Freud.
He is one of the greatest realist painters of the 20th century. Lucian Freud is very frank in his brush strokes on the canvas, and it was pleasant to find some details hidden in his paintings.
